Story telling, Creative Writing, Tips on Publishing Books @ The Spider Library

“All sold out!” was my first thought when I entered The Spider Library. Just within just a week, we got 23 registrations for my story telling on The Myth of the Wild Gaur. Some of the children had already heard about my book as a result of the session I did at Read and Rejoice Library two weeks before.

When the librarian asked the children if they had ever met and interacted with an author before, they all said no. This was their very first time and they were all

excited to hear what I had to say.

As for me, I felt super grateful to see the hall completely packed and full of children. Even when the book signing happened many of them told me that it was an amazing experience to interact with an author and then read their book. They could understand exactly where I was coming from and the message that the book attempted to convey.

At the end of the session, I was also gifted a lovely black pen with my name engraved on it. I will definitely take this pen to future story telling sessions in memory of the great time I had at The Spider Library!
